+++ Liquid Smooth Roms 3.2 for Multiple Devices +++

Its the kernel, so if you find one that works with liquid and has good speaker volume, feel free to share.

Last time I used this ROM, I had flashed the latest "IMOSEYON (AOSP) leanKernel" kernel linked to in the OP... I don't remember which kernel they used in the ROM, but I never had an issue with it... I also used that same kernel with CM7.

May I ask why you stopped using liquid 3.2?

I wanted to use a Sense ROM again, so I switched to BAMF Forever 1.11 with the 3++ kernel (first time using this combination)... it runs very smooth and I've had no issues at all with it for the last week or two.

Thanks for this ROM. So far, it's just what I was looking for in Android. I wish I knew about this sooner, I probably would have rooted my phone sooner.

What would be a rough percentage of users who have the low call volume issue? I have poor hearing so the stock volume is barely adequate for me.

Have been running this rom for two weeks, so far i haven't had a problem hearing people or them hearing me.

This rom or any AOSP probably isn't for you unless you use a kernel that boosts volume.

I searched the thread and didn't see anybody posting issues regarding ringer volume. Despite bumping everything to max when I get a call it doesn't ring. I set to vibrate and it doesn't vibrate. That being said, when I'm setting the ring volume with the rocker key it makes the associated noise (so it's capable of generating the ring noise). Any thoughts?

[Edit] FWIW the phone is a Thunderbolt

[2nd Edit] Fixed. I must have accidentally put it in the "Silent" profile some days back (didn't even know it existed) when powering off. Switched back to normal and all is as it should be. This is a great rom!

So i'm a root noob and i just rooted my phone today and put this rom on it. Its a sweet rom but i no longer have any contact or vzw backup assistant... how can i get my contacts back? :(

reinstall backup assistant

did you use gmail to backup your contacts? If so setup your gmail account and it should sync contacts etc.

In the OP second screenshot it has a thing in the drawer that says "22 hrs remaining fully charged since x" blah blah. How do you get that?

Need a little help here.

So I installed this rom using the revolutionary method to downgrade fron 605.9 to 605.5. Then upgraded the radio to mr4
Then flashed liquid 3.2.

I was using this mod for the past three days and I am simply loving it UNTIL

I went to overlock the cpu from rom tool box and the phone froze.
Then it constantly went into boot loops. I did a battery pull, recovery from the boot loader, now all i get is a black screen after the HTC screen comes up.....wtf?

Someone help me get back to using this phone. Thanks

Did you make a backup of rom before making changes? If you did try going into the recovery by pulling battery and press and hold volume down and power button, then select recovery and then recover option... From her you should be able to restore from previous backup.

When I do the above mentioned I go into the custom recovery from clockworks mod 4.0.104
I didnt even get a chance to make a back up of the rom before overclocking the cpu using rom tool box.....this sucks

Any suggestions?

Okay so I finally gave up and did a factory reset and wiped my phone. I have my backup pro so my applications and contact data were able to be recovered. All my other settings for the ROM had to be configured from scratch.

Any reason why turning up my cpu speed would cause my phone to keep freezing and re booting?
