lock icon on lock screen

I have a lock icon on my lock screen.
When I go to the settings/security/advanced Smart Lock is greyed out...Please help. I don't want it there.

I don't believe the lock icon is from Smart Lock. Is that where you're supposed to swipe up or to the side from?

When I swipe up or to the right (on the lock) the lock disappears. Then in a few seconds the screen turns off. If I swipe like normal on the screen it goes to the home page.

I remember a notification asking for my address? Then the lock was there....

I don't have an S4, so I'm not sure--is that how your lockscreen has always looked (besides the lock icon)? Have you installed any 3rd party lockscreen apps?

I haven't added any lock screen apps. No, it hasn't always been there. I guess I'm stuck with it....
