Lock Screen Weather

Okay I am a total newbie when it comes to this... In all the time I've had android I haven't really messed with the lock screen but I have seen some people's where they have a nice little weather widget (I think it's a widget) along with the time and date. How would I go about doing this? I am running stock (recently just went back to stock) and I used nova Launcher (if that even matters).

If you pop into Settings | Lock Screen | Lock Screen Options, you'll see an option that says "Weather." Just set it to On and tap on it to set the (very minimal) options, and you should be all set. (Just be warned: the weather won't display with certain types of security enabled.)
