Lollipop 5.1.1 Already

I received the 5.1.1 OTA update on my Nexus 7 2013 last night. I was surprised how fast it came considering the time it took to receive the previous 2 updates.

So far I have had no issues with any of the updates *touch wood*. I was hoping that a close all button would appear on the recent apps tabs but hey so far so good.

Seems to run better. A little snappier. I was having the occasional lockup before. We'll see if this fixes it. Fingers crossed.

I received the 5.1 OTA upgrade almost immediately. So far, still waiting for 5.1.1. Just goes to show how these things are sporadically released.

All I've got so far is 5.02 which I haven't installed. Do it have to install it to get notified of 5.1.1?

Never mind. I solved my own problem. I downloaded 5.02, and after I did so it immediately went to the 5.1 download.

I have AT&T. I didn't wait for them ...

Back up files
Remove sim
Factory reset
Let it update it will ask u if u wish to update to 5.1.1 select yes
After completing put back sim..
I did this for 5.1 as well... No issues..

I upgraded to 5.1.1 and it bricked within 30 minutes. I managed to resuscitate it with Wugfresh but it has locked up again. I'm trying to determine what's the newest safest version to go to.

Have you tried re-downloading the image and reinstalling? Seems like most folks aren't having issues with 5.1.1. Wonder if your flash memory is starting to have issues like some have had...

There's a NEW update for the N7 2013 5.1.1! (6-29-15) hopefully we get the OTA soon!

Once you sign into your Google account (during setup) the updates should start automatically. Plug it in and wait for it. If you don't get the notifications, go into Settings>About tablet and you should be able to update to the latest version. 5.1.1

Mine (LTE version) is still on 4.4.4 and no ota update no matter how many times I check.

They did. I am running 5.1.1 Build number LMY47V. So far I like this tablet.
