Looking for a 6 inch tablet

I already own a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 but once the Fire HD 6 was announced I decided 6 inch would be better for me.

The only problem with Fire HD 6 is that I don't really like Amazon's forked version of Android. I can't seem to find any other 6 inch tablets though. Now I'm wondering what about a phablet as a tablet.

The 5.5 inch phablets that I found that I like are the Oneplus one and the HTC Desire 816.

The 6 inch phablets that I found that I like are the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.

Would I miss that half inch of screen real estate? Also are there any 6 inch tablets?

If the rumors are to be believed, the Nexus 6 will have a body the same size as the Note 3/4, but with a 5.9" screen thanks to super small bezels. "Insiders" are claiming it will be released by the end of October with an official announcement coming in the next few days.

What phone do you have? When I had a personal iphone and a cheapo 4" company android, the Nexus 7 was the perfect size tablet. I was also travelling a lot, and the Nexus 7 fit in my jacket pocket. Now that I'm looking at 5+ inch phones, the difference is shrinking.

Where would you use a 6" tablet that you wouldn't use the 5.5-5.9" phone?

Cliffs: I see value in a greater difference between phone and tablet size.
