Looking for Voicemail notification app that will email me

Hi all,

I am looking for an app that will send a message to my Gmail account when a new voicemail message is left for my phone number.

I thought an app called Missed It would work, but turns out it does not email you when VM is received.

I have looked through Google Play and some other app sites, but I don't see any apps that will do what I am looking for. If I knew how to do app programming, I'd create one myself...

Maybe this is an opportunity for a budding programmer?

I failed to mention I am using a Virgin Mobile Optimus Slider. I just found out Google Voice cannot be used on VM phones. Still looking for a seperate app to send notifications of voice messages, (through notification bar) to my Gmail account.

Thanks for the GV suggestion, though.
