Lose charge quickly once unplugged?

Root it and put skyraider 4.0 on there. I'me getting 12-15hrs with moderate to heavy use with the 1750 battery

What is rooting and how is it done? What is Skyraider? I'm new to all this...

Unfortunately, neither option is appropriate for you because you have a DInc 2 and I think the posters assumed you had a DInc.

The DInc2 does not have permanent root yet and Skyraider is a ROM for the DInc, not the DInc 2.

Your best bet to increase battery life is to decrease the frequency with which your accounts sync like Gmail, Email, Facebook, Twitter, Weather, ect. You can look in Accounts and sync in settings and increase the sync times for each account. Also only, display widgets that you actually use.

As a last resort get an extended battery. If you're getting 10 - 12 hrs on the stock battery you are doing really well. It's just a fact of life for OEM Batteries in smart phones today.

For what it's worth, I got a 3500 battery for my DInc and I use it the way the phone was meant to be used.

I have decreased the frequency of sync for all those accounts. I have already noticed a difference in the length of time it holds the charge from doing that and from bump charging. I think it is 10 to 12 hours, so I think I may hold off on getting the extended battery for a while. Thank you for all of your suggestions!! I am so glad I can come here for advice that actually works.
