Losing Interest In 3 XL

I have 9 on my plan + 3 watches (soon to be 4 when I get my Pixel one) :P.

You must been grandfather in for that deal... problem is they hit me 1 month for 6,000.00 bill when it was normally 180.00 at that time with overseas plan I had extra 100.00 on top so total 280.00 , so you can see why I'm pretty upset with them

I am on the February Unlimited (or the official is "THE NEW VERIZON PLAN UNLIMITED") as they call it. The unlimited plan they introduced when they re-introduced unlimited (before the changes to Go/Beyond/Above). Basically my plan is the "Beyond Unlimited" plan at a lower price.

Also yeah I could understand but that isn't the normal circumstances. Did you ever get it settled?

Just like some on T-Mobile never have had to experiences hours and hours of calling customer service to get stuff fixed that should have gone smoothly due to me following all the fine-print and rules... yet I had to do it. Also I literally mean hours and hours as in I am not exaggerating.

Customer support I've seen them all the same from Verizon,at&t,tmobile spend time on the phone

After it was all said and done they wanted to settle for 2500.00 ...I exchanged some words with them lol which I'm sure you know where I'm getting at with that, I told them take me to court I really like a judge to listen to a 6,000.00 bill for 1 month service ..that was 9 years ago

Oh yes spending time isn't my complaint. Stuff happens. Hours and hours? Eh. So far in the year and a half on Verizon I have called once due to a hiccup. Fixed in 15 mins.

I've had a different experience with Verizon....all positive. I've been with them since well before they we're Verizon.

Same here. In fact, my experience with Verizon's International Services plans has been excellent. My wife and I go to Europe for 5-6 weeks every summer, and I always sign us up for Verizon's $40 per month call and texting plan on both of our phones, as well as the Travel Pass plan on my mobile wi-fi Jetpack hotspot. Normally the phone and data service throughout Europe has been great, but last summer (2017) we had problems getting a consistently workable data signal using the wi-fi hotspot in some areas of Hungary and the Czech Republic. I made several lengthy calls to Verizon support from over there in an effort to rectify the problem (which turned out to be just a matter of poor service from the local providers). When we got back, I called Verizon customer support to complain about both the $10 per day Travel Pass charges for the nearly useless data signal on those 8 days and the overage charges for my phone calls to tech support. The Verizon representative was more than courteous and immediately credited our account for all of those disputed charges. We had another minor issue with the proration of charges for our monthly international service plans on the phones following our trip this summer (2018), and again it required only a 10-minute call for the Verizon customer representative to issue us a full credit.

You also getting good price as Almeuit?

Almost, but there are different discounts. I rolled over to the new plan around the same time as Almeuit but I lost my Corporate discount. In the end it was actually cheaper without the discount than the old plan with the discount and only one line was on the original unlimited. I was thinking about putting my wife on a lower plan because she only goes on the internet and plays a Facebook game or two so unlimited is a waste for her. My daughter and I usually go over the unthrottled portion but it never slows down as far as I can tell.

If you served you might be entitled to a military discount.

that's cool .. Verizon and Me have bad blood
will never ever use them for anything even if they last carrier standing

This thread has taken a different direction. Not to derail it, but the comments re Verizon - I stay with them for two reasons: Coverage is the best there is. None of the other carriers have customer service that is better. Costs more, worth it for me.

I'm still in for the 3XL.
And the bigger, the better.
I'd buy a 7" phone if Pixel made one.
For me it's a mobile computer that just happens to have a phone in it.

When your needs are like that, it only makes sense to buy a bigger handset. I use my phone more than I use my laptop, to be honest.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks this. I honestly think they need to bring back the Nexus line and stop with the "premium" approach.

That is just it, IMO the pixels have not been premium phones so far they have just charged a premium price. They are absolutely function over form but in terms of build quality and specs no other manufacturer could get away with charging so much for the hardware.

For the record before the leaks I was 100% certain I was getting the 3XL, I just thought they would nail it this time around. Maybe the big surprise will be price and they will bring these things in low?

Don't expect a low price....it is not happening.

I agree I doubt we will see a lower price, but it would be nice. I don't think Google is worried about selling a lot of these just yet.
