Lost all Memos!

I was using the Memo app today, following a recipe I had saved there. Abruptly, everything I had in the app disappeared, including the recipe I was using.
I've tried everything I can think of to recover those files, but nothing has worked so far.
I had a LOT of important information in there! Passwords, reminders, lists.
PLEASE, someone tell me how to retrieve my files...

I am seeing the same sort of thing.
If I use the My Files application, I see my SMemo files in the SMemo folder.

My phone has been indicating it has been backing up over the past nearly 2 years.

However, I don't know how to tell what backup(s) are being executed. I thought that the files were being backed up to Google.

I do know that when I look at the Samsung account information in Settings, there is a message saying that sync is experiencing errors at this time.
