Android Central Question

I've lost emails that I saved in folders. When I try to access them, they pop up for a second, and then i see "no emails. Some emails may not have been retrieved from the server."

I also got this message: "Oops!Your files are lost" when i plugged my phone in to charge it.

Go to your email server's web site (for GMail it's GMail) and see what's there.

As far as "folders" go, in an IMAP account (that's how most email programs set gmail up), there are no folders, all email is in the same place, but they're "tagged" as belonging to a certain "folder" for your convenience. If the account is POP3, there are real folders, and if they got deleted, so did the email. (But that would be a server thing, not an Android thing.)

If the emails show at the site, just delete the account from your phone (the GMAIL account, not the GOOGLE account), and set it up again. You should get the emails back. (If they're not on the site - again, that's a server thing. Contact the email provider.)

Same thing happened to me today very important emails that I needed to look concerning my LG G6 phone and now they are gone did you ever find a way to get them back
