Loving my D2G!!!

I came from a Samsung Vibrant which I loved alot but a couple of things was holding it back from being a great smartphone. Even the GPS wasn't a major thing that was needed when I needed to use it it was a fail, 2.2 update ughhh lets not start and the battery life was kind of bad...

So I went to Verizon and got the D2G and a DX for my girl because of their BOGO promotion. I honestly couldnt be happier with my purchase, its a well built phone keyboard is fantastic and I didnt realize how much I missed a physical qwerty.

In short this phone is beast!!!

Glad your happy. While the vibrant is nice samsung has failed when it came to software gps updates rfs to name a few

Exactly, like the screen visually was perfect but lack of software support was getting on my nerves a lot... also the phone felt a little cheap

I had it for a day, 2010 and tmo didn't have 3g at or around my house I just couldn't keep it. The phone felt great in my hand but my gripe was with the back cover that made it feel cheap the captivate felt much better with the metal back

yea i thought the captivate had a slightly better build quality... not saying the galaxy s phones were bad but i think moto's has better build quality and better support

Yes they do have better support on their high end phones and build quality just comes down to materials used which metal will always feel better than plastic. Though I loved the weight and lightness of the vibrant I guess that's the trade off it just didn't feel as durable
