Within 25 minutes I lose 10% by a real quick check clash of clans a short phonecall being on andorid central. I turned off the 2 recommend WiFi settings and still draining.

Wow, I've only had the phone since yesterday afternoon and been doing a lot of app restores (including downloading), trying various things in setup and doing some surfing and I'm not experiencing anything like that kind of drain. I don't have any suggestions for you but it doesn't sound like a normal amount of battery drain. Maybe others in here will have some suggestions for you but if my phone were doing that it would not be acceptable. I would probably try a reset and if that didn't work I would likely return the phone.

First android of mine switched from blackberry mostly and the first iphone. The Z30 battery life as amazing with out a battery saving mode. Not use to a ton of features. More of a business man I guess. Slowly getting rid of my ipad for this phone and the 2 in 1 Asus transformer flipbook so I carry less devices for college. Now at 79%

I have the regular screen S6. I am not impressed with battery life.. I went to bed last night and took my phone off charger at 100%.. Slept 7 hours woke up still at 100%.. I was impressed with that... Use my phone for 10 mins to check news and weather and went down to 90% in just 10 min of use!!

That seems high. My battery seems to drop about 1% every 5 minutes with similar use (checking news, Twitter, weather, etc).

You cannot assess battery based on 10 min use. Use it until battery approaches 10% and then post some screen shot.

Tap the item "screen", how many hrs does it say for screen on time?

If would be normal if the screen was on the entire time.

Having read the article, it still pisses me off that the screen doesn't show an accurate reading at all times.
