A friend recommended I check out the moto g.
Right now I got the Kyocera hydro rooted. And just about anything is an upgrade. I know the moto g has no SD card. So the question is how good is the moto g n am I making a good choice ? And of course I want to root it.

A lot of people on the forums who have a Moto G really seem to like it. I would get the 16 GB, as I think that is the biggest that is offered (Remember, this is considered an introductory device)

I personally don't have a Moto G but I have heard good things about it.

I have rooted all my devices. Longest phone I had unrooted was my Nexus. A little over 3 months, stock.

I think it is a great choice. I saw it for $80 for verizon and was tempted to get it just to play with it.

For $80 I would. Always nice to have an extra device just to play around with. Especially for testing ROMs.

Re: maybe getting the moto G

Well I got boost and radio shack got the moto G for 99 bucks 16gb. I know the deal with the no SD and no removable battery. But with both the 16gb and cloud storage I'll be good.
Plus now I'm only running stock ICS on 4.4 hydro which is unable to flash new ROM because the boot loader is locked.
I'm not really concerned about the warranty after immediately rooting it. Since it is a fairly cheap phone. Not that I got the 100 bucks to throw away. But hell yeah I'm gonna root it.
Have the latest kit Kat compared to this ICS I got now. Anyway thanks for help.

If you're good with 16GB on board memory with cloud storage then I say go for it!

Ah **** boost mobile doesn't carry the 16gb moto g.
So not sure what I'm gonna do.
