Media Player with most compatible formats

Hey Guys,
Anyone know of a good media/video player that is compatible with a huge range of formats? I have rockplayer and it seems to do alright but it lags on audio alot or completely messes it up also likes to freeze up on some formats. I have tried Act 1 and double twist but they usually cant play anything.

Meridian is the best I have found.

I use act 1 love it. Plays video taken with phone, dvds that I convert and download also convert my tivo shows and act 1 plays them as well.
