why does com.android.mms come up in the web and history application
When I sign into google to look at my history.....it says com.android.mms- i thought this meant a mulitmedia message......but there have been days that i have not sent or received a text and it still is displayed that day. Also, there are alot more codes that come up and I have no idea what they stand for. For example; com.android.incallui

Welcome to Android Central! What history are you looking at? Are you talking about the Web & App Activity screen in your Google Account menu on the web?
com.android.incallui is the system app that deals with the user interface while you're in a call. It's normal.

Could someone see my calls and texts because of an ap called incallui?
I have an android ZTE phone I recently acquired. But I currently looked at my aps downloaded and seen this ap called incallui. I got to reading about it and its an ap that lets others see the location of your phone, see your phone calls, or lets them be recorded, then they can read your texts. Is this true when this ap is downloaded that they can follow me and spy on everything Im doing? This ap wasnt on my phone before and I have this feeling someone is trying to find out what they can and what Im doing. the stupid @#%#@%$^ should mind his own business and leave me alone. This would be an invasion of my privacy.

It's a system app that manages various onscreen functions while you're in a call.

Welcome to Android Central! InCallUI is the user interface while you're in a call. It may be that it only becomes active if you so other things on the phone while on a call. So when you're just talking on the phone without doing anything else on the screen, it might stay dormant.

Welcome to Android Central! There are a lot of threads on AC about the Screen Overlay issue--do a search on the forum to find them. Here's one: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...often-some-apps-what-how-properly-select.html.
If that doesn't solve your problem, it would be best to continue the discussion in one of those threads, or create one of your own, since this thread doesn't have anything to do with screen overlay. Thanks!
