Yeah, it actually has to reboot into recovery to do the install; and you'll have to activate after each install.

The easiest way is to just go into rom manager (free or premium), select download rom, go to Stock Images and you should see the .41 and .43 basebands. You need to install .41 first and then .43 after.

And oh my holy god... Don't do this. Avoid the .41 and .43 Basebands like the plague. I flashed them, my data service went in and out like a strobe light on crack... had to flash back.

Using the basebands in rom manager actually fixed my sporadic/no 3G problems. If he's having service problems on the stock baseband, the next step is to update the basebands. I had issues with no 3G data when I installed the FRF57 leak, but after installing Bugless Beast v0.1 and installing .41 booting up and installing .43, my issues went away.

I had a hiccup last night (6/15), but for now, everything is peachy. I'm crossing my fingers hoping things are gonna stay the same, but we'll see.

Hopefully it stabilizes out for you. I'm running the same band and have no trouble at all. Are you in a low-signal area or anything like that?

Signal where I live is kind of spotty, but I didn't have issues with VZW in the past.
Also, I tried re-flashing to stock 2.0.1 via RSDLite, but it's not letting me start, at all.
My GTalk name is KCGracia, so maybe someone can guide me through all this.

With RSDLite make sure you can run it as administrator. I'm heading off to bed, my GTalk is the same as my name here if you keep having trouble... no guarantees I can help, but I'm pretty sure I can't hurt, lol.
