micro SD: Sandisk vs Samsung?

I bought a 32gb class 10 Sandisk microsd card for my Galaxy S4. It was a complete failure. It would constantly unmount and remount the phone. It was unusable and even a laptop would recognize it only about 50% of the time. That's the 2nd card I've had of theirs that had problems. I think Sandisk is junk and I will never buy anything from them again.

Samsing sds work perfectly in all of the Samsung phones. I personally use a 16gb pny microsd and have never had any issues.

i was searching for this answer since I wanna order one for myself. I am a bit confused because because samsung is the same brand as the phone (s4) maybe they will work together more smoothly. but I cant ignore Sandisks popularity. only one difference I found is that Samsung promises 48MB read capability while Sandisks read capability is 30 MB/second. by the way I just got a refund from Argos for a 16 GB sandisk micro sd card which I bought for an astonishingly high price of ?25!!!
I am happy I googled about the prices and found out I can get 32 GB for a lesser price of about ? 20.

I would counsel you to go with the Samsung part and avoid potential problems. I'm not saying that SanDisk makes a bad product, but there's some weirdness going on between the Samsung Galaxy S3 and SanDisk cards. I had a brand new 64GB SanDisk card get corrupted and become completely unusable - YMMV.

I can't believe I am reading all those bull crap about Sandisk being a bad company. Sandisk is one of the key innovator of flash memory and they are the key founder for the SD card standards. Sandisk supplies a big portion of the nand in the world. I have no doubt about their performance on micro sd cards.

One more thing to add, Sandisk do design and manufacture raw flash memory in japan unlike hynix and Samsung having cheap fab in china, so I have totally no idea why would people talk about those bull crap up there. Can they please do some fact check first?

Hmm some information that vilify sandisk sounds like it comes from baseless opinion. If your claims are true, please PROVIDE YOUR FACTUAL SOURCE. It's just that your opinions are seems like comes from generic haters. I don't have good experience (not necessarily bad but it's not good either, just don't seems like worth the price-I wouldn't care to recommend their product to friends at the very least) with big corporation sd products like samsung (haven't tried Toshiba or other yet) so I highly doubt that your information comes from factual source. Just 1 thing, please provide source if sandisk really that bad.
