Microsd card and battery promotion

I bought at BB, my promo went through OK. I sent a pic of the receipt, and another of the box, showing the IMEI number.

But in looking at it again the other day, I realized my BB receipt does *not* show my name. And the receipt pic I sent did not include the IMEI number on the receipt, though they didn't actually say it needed to be shown on the receipt.

I bought on a contract. The receipt does not show the UPC from the box, but, as you said, it does say LG G4.

Maybe my receipt showed my name because I used my Best Buy Rewards credit card? But as I'm typing this I'm thinking that doesn't make sense, either. If you bought it on a contract, your name should be on the receipt. But at least your promo went through OK, so it doesn't really matter for you.

That's the nature of rebates. The majority of people who buy something because of a rebate never take the time to fill out the paper work and send it in. Then some who do, don't fill it out correctly or don't include the necessary things to meet the requirements. Then the rebate companies look through the rest to see which can be rejected... for practically any reason. In the end, only a small percentage ever fully enjoy the reward. Its a calculated risk the retailers/manufacturers take to generate sales... and it usually works for them.

I had submitted my UPC code that I figured would be my proof of purchase. The Sprint Store I went to emailed my receipt. Which I have since re-submitted it...but the status still shows denied. Getting a bit frustrated since they have what the asked for....and have also chatted w/ LG Support...who said I should re-submit. Status still the same.

I'm like a dog with a bone with this. Now I see the phone's UPC code isn't on my Best Buy receipt. So they'll probably deny my claim again, if they ever even bother to read my e-mail. Like this is my fault or something that Best Buy doesn't put phone UPC codes on their receipts. I bought the phone outright without a contract, so I don't have any contract paperwork to show. The Best Buy receipt has my name on it and shows that I bought an LG G4 on X date at X price. If no one else is submitting the same exact side of a phone box as mine, I think I've proven that I own an LG G4. Why do they have to make this so difficult? Did anyone else buy their phone at Best Buy? Did any of you have a problem with them not accepting the Best Buy receipt?

You don't need the UPC code but you do need your name and the IMEI number shown on the receipt. I bought mine full donkey as well from Verizon and took a pic of their receipt and uploaded it. It took mine a while to show as approved so I still think you'll e good to go.

The promo itself has ended so they hold be through the submissions a bit faster now.

Got mine on the 27th, submitted the info for the promo of the 29th, and was approved on July 3rd. I'm sure I'll find some use for the extra sd card, but having the extra battery and charging cradle will make an already great experience with this G4 even better.

I bought the phone at Bestbuy...2 G4's actually. I sent in the BB receipt and a pic of the boxes. LG approved the submission without any issues. The rebate is sitting in pending shipment status.

I never got a shipping confirmation email. In fact, I just checked and it is still "pending shipment"... yet it is here sitting on my desk.

Anyone having issues with the provided microSD card? I've tried the card in my phone, on my pc and on other phones and having issues. Phone will not recognize the card. PC asks to format it immediately and only sees it as having 30.6 MB (megabytes, not gigabytes). Formatting the card also errors. I've got several other microsd cards lying around that do not have issue. I've reached out to LG to see what they say.

Are you eligible for the 128GB card?. I got the same package and noticed it had the 32GB card like yours. I was told that I qualified for the 128GB card.....so, I got hold of T-Mo (that has that offer) and they said I needed to submit again with another promo.....submitted it, and just waiting for it now!...should be here this week I assume.
