AC Question

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 (not Edge). Purchased in August 2016. Initially I had a Samsung 64 GB MicroSD card. It corrupted. I tried reformatting on computer and on the phone. Did not fix it the Samsung card. :(

The second card I bought is a 64GB SanDisk MicroSD card. After 6 weeks this card is now also showing corrupt. I am rally upset as I lost a week's vacation of photos.

Two different cards. Two different card manufacturers. Both corrupted. Same phone. Help!?

For the SanDisk card, go to SanDisk microSD Tech Support and look for live help in the upper right corner. They guarantee their cards. (The S3 had an "update" that corrupted cards - SanDisk came out with a modification to the cards to stop that before Samsung fixed the problem.)

As for the corrupted Samsung card - good luck. They may or may not replace it.

I bought the Samsung at Best Buy in the US. I contact Samsung and they were willing to replace the card. I now live in the UK. The post lost the package (insured and tracked!). Post would not replace it w/o a purchase receipt. So, nothing else to do - bought a new card.

I can contact Sandisk but seriously, two cards, both corrupt in the same phone? Is that likely? Is that normal?
