Million Dollar Question - What color?

Artic Silver here. Last year I wanted the Silver S7E and i couldn't find it. This year I shall.

I'm really amazed at how many people have chosen the Orchard grey colour. I must be in the minority since I don't really like it. The Blue and Black colour appeals to me much more :) maybe the colour in real life looks better than on Samsung's website.

I'm not a huge fan of it either. I mean it looks nice, but too purple to me. It only looks good in certain lighting. I really like the idea of something other than black, but I always get tired of it over time.

It a very subdued shade of Purple, especially with the glass-like body. You don't really notice it until the light hits it right. Of course I also liked the much brighter shade of purple that Sony uses on their Xperia phones. Anything that breaks up the monotonous army of Black & Silver phones is a step in the right direction.

This is why i love the 'Blue' colour :D It's a nice refreshing colour thats different for all the others. It's also why i love the Product RED iPhone. Simply because it stands out from all the "standard" Black and white smartphone colours.(although they do look good) Its just like there are too many white cars on the road. We need some colour :D

Since it was announced I had my mind set on the black but something was not right and I didn't know what it was so i went with the orchid gray in my pre order and believe it or not I feel a lot better. So I conclusion after a couple of black phones lately it seems I was just craving for something more exclusive this time.

I am the opposite... have not had a black phone in a while, So I went with black this time. I love that it is all black, would have loved a matte black however.

When I saw it, all I saw was a bright purple. It may have been the lighting, or it may be b/c I'm color blind. I tend not to pick up on subtlety when it comes to colors. It didn't look bad, just too much for me personally. Then again, the Note 7 in black was the first Samsung phone design I truly liked. I've always hated the gold and silver mirrored finishes they do.

After 15 years of only owning black or dark blue phones, and despite not liking yellow gold jewelry at all, I was inexplicably drawn to the gold colored S6 Edge+. Where I work we all have to leave our phones in a locker in the hallway, and it's nice to be able to immediately pick mine out of the pile of monotonous white and black phones. I think it's my favorite phone color I've owned and I'm disappointed they didn't carry it forward. But I've never had a silver phone so I'm looking forward to my silver S8+.

I typically like the silver but always go white, not sure about the black bands even on silver, phones just always look cleaner with white.

I was initially gonna go with the silver since that's what I had my S7 Edge in, however, upon seeing the Orchid Grey, that had to be my choice. It's something different, for one, and two, it looks really nice. It's not too dark or light - just the right shade of grey.
