Minimalistic Text not Responding..

Has anyone else had problems with this failing to respond? Sometimes the widgets "blink" when I touch them but don't run the app they are supposed to.

A reboot seems to sort it but it isn't really ideal.

I put something on their Facebook page but they just deleted it :-(

Well it looks like this is not just minimalistic text that is the problem. All my widgets seem to freeze or not respond at the same time (like Gmail for example).

Any idea about how to troubleshoot or fix this issue? Does anyone else have similar issues?

Yup. All Widgets seem to randomly freeze at the same time. ( Beautiful Widgets, Calendar widget, Clockr, geek clock, Out of Milk.)

Only been happening the last couple of days. Hmmmmm.

I found a (quite disappointing) solution to the problem on my JB Galaxy Nexus; the problem appears to be with widgets redirecting to apps other than the widget app. For example, many people having this problem have Beautiful Widgets clock open the alarms. I was using Minimalist Text to open my alarms and calendar, and when I changed the widgets to open the settings for each widget I no longer have this issue. Notably, I installed JB out of the box so I do not know if this is specific to 4.x or Jellybean...
