Minimizing the phone app

Today when I was talking to my wife on my Note 4, I managed to minimize the phone app enough so that all I saw was her profile picture and the call time. I was then able to use the phone without having the phone app in the way. Does anyone know how to get it that small again?

While in a call, hit the home button. You can move it around while it is minimized. Tap the minimized "area" to go back to full screen.

It's a very cool feature! I love it!

You can long press on it to fully remove the widget too.
