I have an Samsung s7 and have bought some YouTube videos i would like to miracast. Here is the situation. When I want to do this, I will be in a gym with no WiFi. I will be playing this through a projector. I tried sidesync from Samsung on my computer using a cord, but all it would do is play a blank screen on my computer. I could hear the audio from phone. I would like to route audio through speakers. How can I get this done with no WiFi. I do not want to setup a mobile hotspot. I

That's odd... SideSync should let you both browse the video files from your phone to play on a computer OR mirror the screen from your phone onto the computer. When you connect it to SideSync, can you mirror it on the PC and just the video goes blank? I believe on the latest version you can select where to route audio, too.

Screen mirroring without WiFi is going to be hard unless the device you want to stream to supports WiFi Direct (technically, still WiFi, but doesn't need data... it forms a device-to-device connection using WiFi, but no router required).
