I have a friend who is considering the Viper and I am doing the research for him.

He is wondering if the live video streaming works for the MLB At Bat app. Yes, I know the season is almost over, but he wants to know.

What I am wondering, I saw a bunch of reviews about this phone getting really hot, has this issue been rectified?

He is currently on an Optimus S.

IDK about the MLB app.. I stream ESPN for monday nite football, the video is crisp, no lag, never noticed it heating up. Netflix also runs excellent without heating up.

I don't know anything about the MLB app, but the phone still gets pretty hot if it's busy. My battery app showed about 43 C just playing some media just yesterday. That was with display off and just playing music.

Tried MLB At Bat on my wife's Viper. First got a message that the phone hasn't been tested for compatibility but when I pressed on play video it streamed just fine.

Thanks for the info, I get that same message on my GS3, so that I am not worried about.
