Why are the images and videos so large in mobile view? It makes it rather unpleasant to browse the site on an Android phone, so I end up using an RSS reader.

Mobile View is currently in a beta stage since our forum restructuring took place a week ago. Design team is aware there will be issues to fix.

Noticed you posted that using Tapatalk is it possible Tapatalk is blowing the pics up?

No, that is a screenshot from the stock browser. Note that it is an article, not a forum thread, so as far as I know the redesign of the forums has nothing to do with this.

Oh okay. Blog side related, it will still be addressed I'm sure once this thread is seen by the proper people.

Yeah. It sucks. Has sucked for a little while. But we've got big improvements in the works. (Hint: Keep an eye on CrackBerry. We're up next.)

Awesome. Just wanted to hear you are aware and working on it because as you said it has been this way for a while.

Uh oh... their layout is totally busted on Android. Hopefully you guys can figure it out. Ars Technica has a very nicely formatted mobile site in my opinion.

Ok folks images should look better now. We've just pushed an update to force images to 100% width of your display.

Let me know if all good!

OK that definitely made a difference. But it works better in Chrome than in the stock browser.

Stock browser:

Images and text are still different widths, not as extreme as before though.
