I have been around on these forums for a few days now but never got around to introducing myself till today. I am a full stack developer who has graduated through pretty much every software technology you can think of starting with "Fast Basic" in the late 1980s.
In my early days I was a C (and then C++) purist who scoffed at "dumbed down" languages such as JavaScript as not being "grown up" enough. Times change and so do technologies and attitudes. I ended up doing a lot of JavaScript and in the meantime the language evolved to become quite respectable in its own right.
I have spent the best part of the last 10 years doing "serious" IT consulting in Luxembourg and build Android apps for business. And once again times and attitudes are a changing - I am on the brink of launching my first ever Android game (never imagined I would live to see the day when I would write that
