Moisture detected in port

[AC Question]

I have the Samsung A3 2017 phone and its come up with a water drop icon and the notification moisture detected in port and it wont charge via usb. Ive seen this happends on the s7 but not on a3 yet? I have not had it in or near water so i dont know why this has happend.

Welcome to Android Central! What about in the bathroom when you're taking a shower? Moisture in the air can also potentially cause this kind of issue. Or the port might be faulty.
