Monthly cost for EVO 4G

I don't live in a 4G or even 3G area. Will I still have to pay the extra $10 a month?

Yup - but i would be concerned if you didn't live in a good 3G area as the EVO may not be a good fit for you there - you need at least that much to be able to use the phone yet alone play with all the other goodies -

Its Not a 4G fee. Everyone with an EVO will pay the extra $10 fee.

The only decent 3G provider in my area is VZW, and I'm tired of them. I've used Sprint in this area before, and although data speeds are a tad slow, there are other reasons why I want the EVO. The lack of 3G/4G is a total non-issue to me. Just kinda sucks I'll have to pay a higher fee for features I won't be able to utilize.

Oh well. It'll still be cheaper than VZW.

Everyone should boycott the 30$ hotspot feature and use the free options. I am looking for one right now that offers multiple devices like I'm used to with iPhone's cydia app MyWi
