Moto DX to GSIII: Who Else?

My first was the BB Storm which I got on the 1st day of release, then ordered the DX which I got the second week after release. It has been a great phone except for some quirks. My reasoning for getting the S3 is that it is new, available, and I keep my unlimited data. I think it will be a great phone and will last me 2 years or more if necessary.

I was on the same train....BB Storm when it first came out ( now that was a buggy phone! ), then the DroidX the 1st week of release....It was nice travelling with ya for the past 4 years, but i gotta get off and catch the Razr Maxx HD Express!!

I remember going into the verizon store way back when the BB Storm was 1st released.....all the demo phones were locked up! But they kept promising an upgraded OS to make it run for at least an hour straight!....I went to several stores, and the lockups were everywhere...but still....i jumped in.....:'(

I can't wait to get this phone. The dx is so slow. but remember it was like the 2nd or 3rd phone with a 1ghz single core processor... man that was fast 2 years ago.

Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

on a side note, i see you are using Tapatalk....i checked it out at the playstore, but they only give you 15 minutes to download, install, try it and decide....if you don't want it, you only have 15 minutes total....what happens if you have to do a battery pull, lose wifi/3g....whatever....
this used to be 24 hours for trial period, but now 15 minutes??

I did not buy.....too short a time..

Going from a Droid X to the SIII as well. Ordered before the cut-off, so will still have my unlimited data. The X is a nice phone, but it's definitely feeling its age though still in great shape.

Now if only FedEx will move it out of West Chester and put it in Transit... Supposed to get it on the 11th.

I got my S3 today and love it! It's so much smoother and faster than my trusty old Droid X which had gotten pretty laggy, but the new phone doesn't seem nearly as rugged. The old X survived several falls (including one onto concrete) and survived them all - with only a little scuff to the corner from the concrete....and all without any protective case or screen cover. I'm going to do a much-needed factory reset on the X and keep it around the house to check weather, etc.
