Moto E2 Mobile bought in US, 3G not working in India

[AC Question]

Bought Moto-e2 mobile in US.
3G used to work properly in US. after coming back to India started using it with Indian sim (airtel), it is connecting to only 2G. Discussed with Airtel and changed the sim (upgraded to the latest sim available), but no use.
i see settings are proper and i have chosen "3G" in the network settings.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked if the bands of the phone's antenna are compatible with tjat of Airtel's in India? This is quite an expected occurence in phones from the US. The networks there often use different bands from the rest of the world. This can't be fixed since you can't replace phone antennas.
