Mines from Koodo (unlocked being used on T-Mobile) & still no update.
I read the international versions are getting it now & the carrier ones next month.

Not sure how to find that. When I downloaded the update the phone doesn't give you the source link to the install. Let me know if there is a way for me to pull that download source link from the phone.

Then look in /cache and see if you can see the update file there. (It'll be a zip file)

I can't remember if Moto obfuscates the DL location or not.

No zip file in the cache. I searched for zips on the entire phone and found an interesting one

The update hasn't pulled for me yet but being I just got the phone 2 days ago I can wait for now.

Kudos to Motorola for being this proactive though.

I don't know, but then I don't know what the "change the date and time trick" actually is...does it involve a DeLorean and driving at 88 mph ?

Haha no. You take your phone off of 'auto date and time' and send yourself a day into the future.
