When I go to Play Store > Settings > Device Certification , I find that it says 'Uncertified '.
I had a Moto G4 Plus before this and it had always said 'Certified'.
According to Google it seems uncertified devices are not secure and may not contain original Google apps.
My location is India and I bought the phone in August from an authorised online shopping site.
Is it with my phone only ?
Please can anyone help ?
Thanks !

Well, I found the solution too.
I went to Settings > Apps > Play Store and cleared cache and data. When I opened Play Store again and checked in Settings I found that it says 'Certified'.
Some sites suggested a reboot of the phone but I did not need to reboot.
Sorry for posting without checking online for a solution but it got me a bit alarmed as I do not want to use an insecure device.

Glad you managed to fix the issue and thanks for the follow up! It'll be very helpful for other users with a similar problem.

It was a relief to have fixed it and I will be happy if others find it helpful.
