Moto Voice Randomly Going Off

I can't be the only one! Does your phone go off (active moto voice) randomly throughout the day, when you don't say your launch phrase?

I sometimes I am in my car listening to music or out and about talking to other people when randomly moto voice activates itself. Sometimes I replay a song to see it it happens again and it doesn't.

The worst part is, my phrase is "powers activate."

I haven't had that happen but I've had my launch phrase be forgotten several time (and, on occasion, remembered without my having to re-record it).

It's as annoying has heck.

Mine is "Ok Jarvis" I've only had it activate on its own about 6 times total in a span of 6 months. I think I just need to change the phrase.

Mine gets deactivated sometimes and I have to hit the box multiple times until the check mark shows up.

I know this is the case when my launch phrase doesn't trigger so I check in settings and it deactivated itself for some strange reason.

I am on 4.4.4 still, Verizon
I can upgrade, just waiting on 5.1+

I can upgrade, just waiting on 5.1+

VZW 5.0 has been pretty solid for me. No major issues. Of course, did factory reset after install. I've seen nothing about a VZW 5.1 update and I suspect they're holding out until they can include HD calling. Scuttlebutt is the rollout of that isn't going well because implementation is spotty. My guess is it's going to be awhile before we see VZW 5.1. Happy to be wrong.

Moto Voice AND Google Voice both randomly activate on my Moto X 2nd gen. Music does it a lot, audio books will do it, the squeeky refrigerator door at the grocery store, and of course my voice does it a lot even though I'm not saying my launch phrase. I turn voice activation off, and it stops for awhile then will randomly start activating again. It gets really annoying sometimes. I doubt we are the only ones with this issue. A new thing my phone has started which is REALLY strange is while driving with bluetooth on, it will randomly start a phone call to itself... it will try to call me at my own cell number?!?! go figure..
