Moto X 2014 any luck using motomaker with Edge on vzw?

I am trying to Edge Up and customize my moto x through motomaker to get the 32gb option. VZW Customer Service and my local store is telling me the option isnt available and I can only Edge Up with the 2 16GB options available in store. But I have seen a few people on G+ say they were actually able to Edge Up with motomaker in store!?! Has anyone here been able to pull this off? How?

I was able to edge up and use motomaker for a 32gig version. You get 2 weeks from delivery to return the old phone.

I was able to do it over the phone but see the post with the issues I'm having (i'll link you to it at the bottom). When I tried to order it in the store, the option to order the 2nd gen MotoMaker (upgrade, full price, edge etc.) was "out of stock". I could of course on the 16GB they had in stock but I need 32.

I would try calling but good luck getting the PIN # to design it.

I did it in the store. The extra charge for 32gig was added to the edge payment at the store and paid the up charge for the walnut back after I completed the design and entered the PIN.

The order was placed yesterday around noon CST.

after about an hour at the store the clueless employees finally figured it out. it can be done. they placed order for 32GB and i received PIN in email within 10 minutes. i was able to pay extra on motomaker for leather.
