Ordered on Friday 10/10 a 32GB Pure Edition, black front, black back with blue trim. Expected delivery date was 10/23. Just received shipping email from Motorola today (10/15) that I should expect to receive it on Thursday (10/16). If I do receive it tomorrow, that's a pretty decent turnaround (under a week). Good luck to everyone!

Just a quick update. Received my Moto X at 2:30PM this afternoon. Very happy with Moto so far.

I wish it weren't so pricey, although it does seem worth it. I wonder though if it's worth paying $500 or giving up my unlimited plan to get the subsidized price. I don't really use more than 2-3GB data but once you go black...

Hilarious. My best friend from HS always says that. Ps. If I was you I would hold out for Droid Turbo or Nexus 6. Both should be out within 30 days. Not much difference in price from the X but a huge difference in specs... Especially battery life.

That's my next dilemma. I'm not sure I want to carry around a 6"+ phone. I compared on phonearena and it is huge! I have been debating what to do with my Nexus 7 and the Nexus 6 would definitely answer that.

My Moto X was order via Asurion insurance 10/11. Got off the phone with Asurion tonight and they gave me a tracking number. Looks like my replacement phone was shipped yesterday and will arrive tomorrow 10/17/14. Originally, Asurion said that my order wouldn't be available until 10/23. BTW, Asurion is replacing my custom 2013 Moto X with a 2014 Moto X since the 2013 is no longer available for custom purchases anymore. Win for me.

Verizon kept telling me that if my new custom Moto X was defective they would only replace my custom phone with a stock black phone. I guess that's not really true?

Following up... It has arrived, and it is beautiful. Somewhat disappointed in the long ETA but at the end of it all, it arrived 7 days early so I can't be too upset.

Got mine today. No email from Moto but they did update the website when they shipped it on Wednesday. Loving the design i created and phone function so far.

Motorola must have had what I ordered in stock and ready to go. I placed my order at 3am on October 16th. I received shipping notification today that says it was picked up by FedEx at 4:44pm the 16th.... same day less than 14 hours from time of order to shipment. I guess Triple black 32gb for Verizon must be common enough to pre-build and have ready to go. Package is scheduled for delivery on Monday.

What will likely be the most frustrating part for those of you still waiting is that my X is going to stay in the box unused. I bought it to get my hands on it before any more updates are released. I'm hoping that a future root and bootloader unlock will be released so it will sit in the box as received. I'll keep using my unlocked 2013 X until then.

I ordered my Moto X 2nd gen on 9/30 and have a 10/23 delivery date. Here's my configuration:

Orange trim

I ordered mine on 9/28 and got an expected delivery date of 10/22. I received it last Thursday, October, 16th.

Just a FYI everyone who has ordered and hasn't received your phone yet don't depend on Motorola. Get on the FedEx website and sign up to track your packages. I called them today 18 Oct the Moto rep told me it wouldn't ship till 20 Oct. Got on FedEx ........... Its in the sorting facility 45 min from my house should be here 21 Oct . Moto didn't even have a tracking number to give me and its been away from Ft Worth TX since 16 Oct. I ordered on 12 Oct just for everyone who's wondering. I will be complaining to Motorola on Monday for this. I'll let you know what my results are.

Odd that some are getting notified by Moto when the device ships and others are not. I was notified and it arrived 2 days later as promised. Certainly appears to be some areas for improvement with their notification process.

I ordered mine yesterday and got my confirmation delivery email from Motorola today. It should be here Thursday.

I got a 32GB Walnut/white/silver trim

I haven't seen many people here purchase a walnut back cover.... :/

My wife ordered hers on 9/29 with a 10/23 arrival date and it came a week early on the the 17th.
