Moto X 2014 Cases!

I'm currently using the Cimo Flexible Soft Case for Moto X (2nd Generation, 2014) - Clear (Amazon.com: Motorola Moto X (2nd Generation) Case, Cimo [Wave] Premium Slim TPU Flexible Soft Case For Motorola Moto X (2nd Generation, 2014) - Clear: Cell Phones & Accessories) which was super cheap and definitely doesn't add to the bulk, but it too is frosted on the back. I was thinking about the Gellicase, since it looked perfect, but it's got the same issue apparently. Using the phone naked just isn't an option for me, since the back is just too slick and I have visions of it flying out of my hand.

How much of the color shows? Can you upload a picture of the back of your phone with the case attached?

I use the nearly identical Clear TPU Cimo S-line case on my 2013 Moto X. I love it. The thickness and the grip on the sides are perfect.

The case will get discolored after several months, but @ $10 a pop with shipping, I'd just replace it every 6 months. I just got a new one last week and keeping the old one (10 months old) to use when I'm doing something active where the case may be exposed to sweat /dirt.

Picked up a new Moto X for my wife and she needed a case ASAP. I wanted the Case-Mate Naked but since I can't get one yet, I grabbed a cheapie off Amazon till the Naked is available.

The case is the Hyperion Frosted clear model TPU style. It fits real good and doesn't add a lot of bulk. The buttons and cutouts line up fine. Can't see the Bamboo back very well but that's due to the "frosted" design. Here's a few pics to give you an idea of the case and fit. Case was $8.99 plus $3.99 for next day shipping.
Company states the case has a 2 year no hassle warranty.

Wanted to add that I really like this Moto X. If it would have been available when I got my G2 I probably would've picked one up.

Nice! Is this case grippy? I also like the way it covers the dimple which I do not use but feel having the cutout for the camera and dimple makes the cutout too large and leaves the camera lens more vulnerable.

It's a bit grippy but not too bad still able to slide easily in or out of pocket. Not as sticky feeling as silicone and not hard and slick like plastic. In between. Wife likes it but she wishes the back was clear. It'll work for now.

Do you a have a screen protector on that?

No screen protector on it as yet. Thinking of a glass one for this phone and still looking at options for that. I've never used screen protectors on my devices but the Wife always has. She keeps her phone in her purse. With all the other stuff in there shaking around it's a better option for her.

How much is the color muted?

I have the Supcase also. The slightly frosted back does show the color and texture pretty well (see photo). I do plan to buy the completly clear Case-mate Naked Tough case when it becomes available, to see which I prefer. I have read some comments that a clear case tends to collect fingerprints.

That looks nice does it add a lot of bulk on the edges?

I bought two cases. The top one from ebay $5

Matte Frosted TPU Gel Flexible Protective Case Cover for Motorola Moto x 2014 | eBay

The 2nd one from Amazon $10. I do not see it on their website anymore but it is like this one in clear.

http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Generation-Cimo-Premium-Flexible/dp/B00NB3AW5G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1412903525&sr=8-3&keywords=Cimo+Technologies+moto+x

The one from ebay is slightly thinner and it is more clear as a result. The Cimo one is also nice but I think I prefer the one from ebay. Neither one would offer much protection if dropped but I feel better with it in the case when in my pocket. They both have a frosted back but the ebay one has clear sides and the Cimo one has a clearer "X" in the back.

No. It is a very svelte and thin case.
So its thin, great. Do you feel the edges through the body......the middle part? Or is that just an optical illusion and its flat and smooth throughout? My son has a fosman (sp) from amazon. Its thin but also fits into my Verizon holster. Wondering if your case will also? Those sides may stop it from fitting.

That Cimo case is the one I have, and I think I like the looks of that ebay one better too. I tried to take a picture of mine in the Cimo case, but yours really shows how it looks much better.

You can see the same case (Supcase Unicorn Beetle Series) reviewed on this youtube video for the HTC M8 phone:

Here is the Diztronic case! Matte black of course. So it covers my wood back. For now its for basic protection and it does a great job! :) Soon enough I will be getting a clear version as soon as its possible. Diztronic has done it again! Can't beat or for $10. Plus here are some photos taken by my mighty M7! :D
