The $50 discount seemed to apply for me. I would recommend trying again or calling them to get your credit.

I believe so, there was an option to choose AT&T which I did but, my order shows Moto X - 32GB Pure Edition with Tmobile Sim.

I went with Black front, Cognac back, silver trim.

I had a hint and quick charger in my cart as well but had to remove them as they are apparently in pre-order status and it said I couldn't have pre-order and "in stock" items in the same cart lol.

I reordered the Hint separately but didn't get the quick charger as I got tired of the constant crashing trying to add it to the cart. The hint has an expected delivery date of Oct 3.

Don't you think it will be like the previous unlocked version, it will be unlabeled but shipped with a T-Mobile sim? I ordered the teak/black/silver 32GB and will compare it with the iphone 6 which I'll receive on Friday.

It looks that way (mine defaulted to T-Mo, but they have my info stored). There was a listing for Pure Edition under AT&T but it wasn't select-able. Doesn't mean much too mean, since it's unlocked, and that's all I care about for travel to EU.

edit - Not being an AT&T customer, I can't say for sure, but can't you just get them to send you a SIM?

Did you check out with a .edu email address? I'm using my gmail account for billing and got the $50 discount but hangs at final checkout with message: Some items in your cart are no longer available.

Tried reconfiguring phone but still no go. Do you need the .edu in the email contact info?

Live for me. The $50 .edu credit doesn't work for the 32GB model on MotoMaker.

To be honest, I didn't complete the checkout process yet, but the discount applied even when I logged in with my non-edu email address.

I chickened out at the last moment before buying.

That's not cool. I wouldn't think the phone's style would affect one's ability to use the coupon. I'd call them and see if they can apply the discount for you. Of course, customer service is hit or miss, depending on who you get.

The code was accepted for my bamboo back 32GB. Don't know about the .edu email login though - I wasn't logged into the site when I applied the code just now, but I was logged into the site using my Google acct earlier when the code was rejected.

UPDATE: Just tried configuring another X while logged in to Google. The code was accepted. Weird.

I think I give up. No matter what it won't let me order the item. First "items in your cart are no longer available", I tried with both bamboo and ebony. And then it said my credit card info is wrong, even though it's correct. Same issue on different browsers and on my phone.
