Moto X (2nd Gen) Pure Edition XT1095: 5.0 Lollipop Update (22.21.11)

hi everyone!
quick question.anyone with the 16gig model who can tell me how much is the user available memory on lollipop
thanks!

Im running 5.0 on my 2014 since last week. Cant wake from lock screen, swiping for notifications doesnt work as well as it did before and NOW theres that DAMN google now launcher on top of my screen. Having requented the moto boards to read a bout others complaints with how 5.0 is running on their moto x's it seems as if motorola is aware of these and a wifi BT issue and are working on their own 5.0.1 fix. Hopefully soon

I'm working pretty perfect on the latest for the PE. Don't see any issues at all.

Strange...

I just got my phone, and it had the update notification on first start-up. Is Lollipop update an "upgrade" to Moto's Kitkat or should I just stay with the older version?

Thanks!

I bought the Pure Edition and am in Canada. Do you guys know if the 5.0 roll out is carrier dependent or should I still be able to update the phone to Lollipop even though I'm on a CND carrier?

Turn your ring volume down, use moto voice, then check your ring volume. Is it still where you set it?

Nice one! Would never have noticed. But I see it happening.

I was referring to some of the show stopping things others have posted about. Very odd that I don't see any of those things happening and we supposedly all have the same hardware...

I am also seeing the Attentive Display feature go AWOL after a while. It simply stops working on the phone, but still "seems" functional in the demo. The only way I have found to reliably restore it is to turn it off for a while, and then back on. This is a bummer as I really like and use this feature.

I see all kinds of problems with Ambient Display as well, but luckily I don't think I really want to use it as Moto Display works much better.

Other minor issues are with various loudness levels of Moto Voice, Google Search, and others (which I am noticing in the truck over bluetooth). Nothing as earth shaking as various iterations of KitKat had on the original Moto X (which were finally cleared up in 4.4.4), but noticeable.

My update was over a pretty virgin Moto X, I cleared the cache partition, but did not reset the phone. I think the issues I am seeing are pretty main stream. I never experienced any bluetooth issues thus far, but I never installed the original OTA of 5.0 (only the later push - .11), plus all of my BT devices are pretty recent.

If it's the unlocked Pure edition then it should not be carrier dependent.

I've noticed Attentive Display is a bit dodgy when using the phone in low light, so I've wondered if the sensors can't detect the face in dark or low light environments. Anyone else notice this correlation?

I'm having lots of problems with my 5.0 update from the soak test, and I've tried factory resetting twice, but invariably, the issues come back. It's probably a combination of 5.0 bugs and incompatibility with some of the apps I'm using, but overall, I'm not happy with 5.0 as it stands today and I want to go back to KK until the bugs are worked out. Anyone have any suggestions or advice on how I can do this? I'm using a PE device.
