Not sure who gets soak tests, but I had the 23.16.3 updated waiting for me this morning when I woke up. Updated and running smoothly so far.

Yep in the US with the Pure Edition/T-mobile version on the AT&T network. Are updates for the Pure Edition controlled by the network provider?

No, I believe updates for the Pure Edition come directly from Motorola.

Quick update with respect to Moto X Pure Edition (2nd Gen) in the US. As many of you know we had started a soak test a couple weeks ago and discovered an issue which we need to address.

Over the past weekend we restarted the soak test. I will keep you posted on its progress.

I just checked for the 5.1 update and it's downloading now. I am not part of any beta or soak test. Just a heads up for other Pure Edition users that are interested in checking for an update.

hey all, moto x pure edition (on att) just got the notice to download the update and its downloading as i type this. woo hoo !!

sadly my wifes gen 1 moto x is still on 4.4.4 so i have to pretend to not be too excited (you married guys know what i mean) . lol

Got it too; first time "check for updates" ever actually worked for me! Seems good so far, with no lag, but will see if that holds up. If not I'll do a reset.
