Moto X Battery Life

That's true. I prefer screen on time (no root and on lte or 4G) though because I think it depicts at least the potential of the phone. Even though, obviously, in some areas battery life is going to suck. So far I'm all about this phone. It'll be buying it outright so I'm trying to be very cautious.

I know I don't have much screen on time today but just over all the has got to be the longest lasting battery out of all of my previous phones.

Battery life is excellent. With the same normal use during a busy day at work, I would get 15 hrs and almost 1hr and 1/2 of on screen time on my GN. Still received a bunch of texts, surfed Facebook and Instagram and the battery hung in like a champ on my X. Very pleased with my purchase.

On my note 2, I would turn off data, so I did that yesterday with my moto x, and the battery life was great.

I am curious why "android OS" is at 25% is that normal for this phone?

Here is a screen shot of mine (screen time of 3hours and on for 1d and 10 hours: Screenshot_2013-10-28-18-52-04.png

I'm still getting 20+ hours of battery life after heavy use. Great phone.

I'd like to see if anyone is getting more than 24 hours where the Android OS is NOT the top line. From what I understand, when it's the top user of battery it's an indication that the user hasn't been overusing the device.

I did notice that when you used the phone often the Android OS went down the list.If you let the phone idle or not in use at all for example sleeping while phone was on all night then the Android OS would rise back up towards the top in the list,or be the top in the list. So Im thinking as you it has to do with how much or often the phone is constantly being used to where it shows in the list.
I also agree with "who cares where it is " it appears everyone is getting really good battery use from the ones I have seen.

This is my best battery life. This is without being on Wi-Fi at all. No problems with battery life.

For those of you who have had 5+ hour screen on time, what is your screen brightness set to? I've got mine set to 60% and I think that would run pretty far down in about 4 hours.

This is the brightest I have mine set for out in the daytime .At nightime I go lil dimmer.
