Moto X: Stock SMS Letters get Chopped Off

Has anyone else noticed this? Not that it's a big deal, but has anyone noticed that letters in outgoing text messages occasionally get chopped off, on far left? My GN used to do the same thing. Odd that we're on 4.4.2 and this hasn't been sorted. I use the "normal" font size.

Just to clarify, half the letter gets chopped, not the whole thing.

I don't have any issues like that. I'm using hangouts as my SMS app

I use stock messaging app, haven't experienced that on this phone or on my old Galaxy Nexus.

Never had that happen with any android phone I've ever had.

I reply in portrait most if the time. Never happens to me like I said previously. Try using Hangouts to see if it happens there too.
