I preordered the Droidx this afternoon, with the expectation (hope?) that the Droidx camera will outperform the EVO, and be competitive with the iPhone 4.

If you, or someone, have lots of free time, I'd love to see a set of comparative indoor and outdoor 720P videos with the Droidx, EVO and iPhone 4 recorded simultaneously for A-B-C comparison.

While we're at it, full resolution simultaneous, or at least same subject, stills would also be really instructive to compare, especially ones that would include large masses of sky, and fine details such as flowers against backgrounds.

How's copy/paste on the Droid X (gmail, web browser, etc)? Improved any? Seems that it's been a constant complaint on all of the Android powered devices. Does look like text editing has been improved though. Demo @ 3:48 in the video below

Phil - you mentioned on the podcast that the entire 8 GB of onboard memory on the DX is dedicated to Apps. Do you know if that memory assignment includes the data associated with those Apps? I'm hoping it is. It would be great for wide open storage space for audiobooks, kindle books, and perhaps podcasts, etc.

Screen differences

Hey Phil,

Just listened to the podcast for the first time. I have had an unrooted droid ( i represent a growing audience for you perhaps ) for 6 months. I'm surprised you didnt make reference to the fact that the screen on the Droid 2 is considerably bigger than the droid's, yet has the same amount of pixels in it ( 800 x 454 ). Can we get a opinion as to whether or not you can see the difference there? The phone looks awesome, pretty fast ( though i can't see a difference in the speed from the video you shot ). I am disappointed in the identical screen pixel count though. Seems like a step backwards to me.
