Here's the shot I've been looking for (the profile). It looks fairly thick for a 2013 phone with 2012 specs doesn't? I think my GNex is thinner than this. Though I guess it's tough to compare...

I will wait to judge when I can hold it and see how it actually feels, but your right. It seems that they might be making several mistakes with this one...

First of all, we don't know if that's the actual size of the device. Second, remember that the edges are curved. The middle will be thicker.

Well the price point makes little difference since there are already midrange phones which come in the price with same or better specs.

That's what all the hype is about. I'm interested in this device and what Google has planned for it and the future kine of Moto devices.

O and one more to my list of questions :

Are they going to use that same amoled garbage on the screen or put some of that amazing lcd3 tech that htc is using?

This is a place that moto could really shine. You don't have to have 1080p the have an amazing screen, but they are going to have to have something better than the oversaturated amoled to do it. Lcd3 seems to be more efficient as well.

I see your point between LCD and Amoled when it comes down to efficiency. I would prefer LCD over amoled for efficient. Hopefully they do run LCD screen but it doesn't have to be LCD 3.

LCD 2 and LCD 3 both at 720p what differences be?

Sent from my SGH-T999 using AC Forums mobile app

I don't know the technology differences, but when I hold my rezound next to a dna or a one the difference is amazing. Lcd2 was kind of bland. Very natural color, but a little less vibrant than it needed to be. Lcd3 is just as vibrant as amoled, but not over saturated and brighter.

4.3 in. display, 720p (342ppi), 16gb storage, 1gb ram, 5mp camera (1.2mp front), 1080p recording, dual core 1.4ghz Krait, 305 Adreno, 2000 mah battery.

Look familiar? That's the HTC First. And it's $ .99 on AT&T. Ninety-nine CENTS.

I don't care if the Moto X battery lasts ONE MONTH between charges with 12 hours of on-screen time/day.

Google better hope these "new" features break everything we know about the universe.

The latest spec roundup on phone arena makes me believe it beats out the gs3. Not top specs but respectable.

Price, the promise of near stock android with fast updates and a few new features would make it more appealing to me than the gs4 or one.

The masses don't understand or pay attention about specs. It us always about features.

Let's see... smaller screen, less RAM, worse camera, worse CPU and GPU, smaller battery, older Android version... your point?
