MR2 OTA Update (1.66.605.2) (Leak)

MR2 does help Battery life in that you can shut off LTE when you don't need it. (At least officially through the OS itself) Yesterday I was at 15+ hours of up time with over 5 hour awake time and had 57% battery remaining. I just shut off 4G when I didn't need it. This beast is pretty speedy over 3g so I really only need 4g when I want to stream stuff or use the hot spot. Today so far I am at 6 hours up and 1:48 up with 53% remaining. (I threw in LTE for a little while earlier)
While I hate disabling a feature like that it let's me use the device without wondering when I need to get a charger out, and the 4g is there when I need it.

when we turn off 4G/LTE and go to CDMA only does it take away our ability to do data/voice simultaneously over 3G?

I have not tested it but figure as much since you are probably shutting down the LTE modem. That modem supports 3g and 4g which is where they get the simultaneous voice and data over 3G. The normal cdma radio handles the voice and the 3G/4G radio is available for data. (At least that is my theory)

By what you said and the responses, I'm not even sure what we are talking about anymore...
CDMA Only, is voice only, no data whether on a call or not.
CDMA Auto (PRL) is voice and 3g and they can be used together.
CDMA+LTE/EvDo is voice and 4g (or 3g) and they can be used together.

If you're referring to the menu accessible through the Phone Settings app (or through other means), CDMA Only does provide for data in 1xRTT mode (good, old-fashioned 2G). I doubt you can have simultaneous data and voice in this mode, but I haven't checked.

If wevewre getting it tomorrow it would be on the support site now. The day may be wrong or it may have been killed in TA we shall see. Still better than MR1
Spoke yesterday afternoon with in store personnel and tech rep via phone. They all said "in the second half of June". No one said specifically the 15th although that is when the second half begins. Still leaves 15 more days.
