Some of you guys here are so prideful about your phones and your opinions! Relax! We're here to help each other, not to show everyone how "right" we are.
when we turn off 4G/LTE and go to CDMA only does it take away our ability to do data/voice simultaneously over 3G?

No it doesn't..... data/voice simultaneously will only work over 3G/CDMA.
One day to the 15th. I do not believe the OTA software update is coming out tomorrow.

By what you said and the responses, I'm not even sure what we are talking about anymore...
CDMA Only, is voice only, no data whether on a call or not.
CDMA Auto (PRL) is voice and 3g and they can be used together.
CDMA+LTE/EvDo is voice and 4g (or 3g) and they can be used together.

If you're referring to the menu accessible through the Phone Settings app (or through other means), CDMA Only does provide for data in 1xRTT mode (good, old-fashioned 2G). I doubt you can have simultaneous data and voice in this mode, but I haven't checked.
