That is how i saw my burn in last week when that update came and the screen was bright blue .if i had not updated my phone i would not have noticed the burnt screen.but it would have got worse anyway

lol why would we need to see the "hardware issue" when a screen cap would show evidence of it?

Screen shot wouldn't show screen burn in. It is on the screen hardware wise and a screen capture would only take a digital shot of what is supposed to show on the screen. Viewed on a computer or another phone it wouldn't show up.

Well ... just because yours is defective doesn't mean others are. The only true advice is to send it back and get it replaced / fixed by Samsung. That is truly the only way to get the issue fixed.

A screenshot wouldn't show burn in. Burn in is a hardware thing that the software won't capture in the screenshot.

I have taken it back to samsung.they fixed it last week but replaced my perfectly sealed screen with a bad replacement screen that is not sealed.now they are fixing it again with another replacemt screen.and they wil have to fix it over and over untill the job is done correctly

I agree you should make them fix it so you are happy. This device is too expensive to not be happy!

So sammy services centre called me and said they cant fix the phone.they put another screen on and they said this has even worse light leak than the other one.they said im stuck woth a fuked up note 8 they refuse to do anymore.so my 2.5 month old note 8 that was perfect has visable light leak even with the screen brightness low and in daylight.i dont know what to do im stuck with a cosmetically defected device.i wish i had my burned in screen back .so pissed off

if they admit they can't fix it they should replace with a new one.
Since you are talking pounds I guess you are in the UK, spend the 20 pounds it take for a small claims court action, also do not accept explanation from the support centre over the phone, insist on it on email or in writing
