My A5 won't stay on display very long.

Even though I have it set for 10 minutes before shutting off, it shuts off in 2-3 minutes! ANNOYING.

Do you have the auto-lock (not auto-off display) setting to 2 minutes? Is the time always the same or different? Have you tried other time options (and changing back to 10 minutes)?

Also, if you have any Device Administrators (like company e-mail) they might be enforcing security policies that override whatever you set in your settings.

SpookDroid nailed it. However I'd like to add battery management apps can screw it up too.
