My android keeps going crazy when i plug my headphones in

I bought the Galaxy s10+ just a few weeks ago. It's been great. But now I have this issue when I plug in my headphones the phone goes crazy. It will open apps by itself, mess with the volume, open Bixby, make phone calls. It just does this without me even touching it. I use my earbuds all the time, I dont like talking on the phone without them but it just hangs up my call on it's own and goes crazy. I restarted my phone, took my case off, it works fine when the headphones aren't plugged in. What's going on? And how can I fix this it's really annoying!

Have you tried those headphones in another phone, or tried a different set of headphones in this phone? It's a hardware fault for sure, and now just need to determine which is defective.
