My Battery Life Sucks!

I’ve not experienced this with my N9, but have in the past on occasion with other devices. What I’ve usually found to be the cause has been syncing issues. This results in heavy processor use and excessive battery drain. Have you checked your backup syncing and mail accounts to see if they’re responsible for your issues?
I checked for any syncing issues and didn't find any errors. Device maintenance is good but it doesn't tell a user the full story. Frustrating.

If you haven't done so already, you may want to run it in safe mode for a bit and see how it responds.

Safe mode wipes away all my stuff when I restore it for some reason. I get a day outta my phone if I'm lucky

Here is my usage. Tell me if I should expect better? I usually unplug about 0900. A d here at 1254pm CDT, I'm at 26%

If this helps. Almost all my apps I have blocked from notifications. All i allow is e.g., Netflix, YouTube, Play music etc so that it appears on the status bat when running. Every app except Life360 i have disabled running in the background for mobile data use and put on the "always sleeping apps" battery device folder.

Okay, i can understand that the screen is big, it can only give about 7-8 SOT at full charge to zero. But one thing i can never get is that the phone drains battery at standby!

From the stats of the ACCU BATTERY, it says "My phone drains about %2 per hour at standby mode." Isn't it too much?

I have 90 percent of my apps in sleep when not in use. But the notification thing I will try as well. Just can't get this to last and its supposed to sustain heavy usage.

Go through your app list and uninstall the ones you don't use and Disable the ones you can't uninstall get a Black Wallpaper.. everyone uses there phone different so battery life varies person to person

Don't think I've tried all of the above ?? I'm pretty technical and have done all you've mentioned. Samsung battery life just sucks in general. It may vary but you see others getting nearly 2 days of battery life with heavy usage. So that's an excuse it varies.

Well I guess figure it out then I gave my advice if it's that bad try doing a Factory reset see if anything changes

7-8 hours is good I'm only getting 5 plus

The phone is too new for a factory reset as I recently got it replaced with a brand new note 9 a week or two ago. Appreciate the assistance

Obviously, it's not the phone itself, but the apps you have installed. Did you try running it with just the standard apps for a day to see if it's normal before you add everything back? You can't expect different results if you are setting it up the same way every time. Being new has nothing to do with it. People are suggesting factory resets to get rid of the rogue apps causing this huge battery drain. Start adding apps slowly until you find the culprit.
