My fear of the V20

I will avoid buying any phone that doesn't have a user-replaceable battery, I've had my Note 4 for two years and have had to replace the battery three times, I just use the thing that much and the batteries simply reached the end of their charge/discharge cycle life. The V20 is the only viable alternative right now, I'll be getting one as quickly as they're available.

I totally agree. Used to LOVE Samsung phones because of the removable battery. Had an S6 Active with a 3500 mAh battery. Used to get all day battery with it and after 8 months, I've been only getting half a day's worth of battery. Massive battery but it won't last forever. Used to have an S5 and Note 3, battery sure does wear down after a year.

You won't believe how fast USB 3.0 quick charge is. It blows Samsung's 2.0 quick charge out the water.

Samsung's 2.0 is QC2.0, just not certified as such. The only difference between QC 2.0 and 3.0 is efficiency. From my reading, it's not designed to be faster, but to communicate better with the device to negotiate voltage and current, meaning similar charge times with less wasted energy to heat.

The connector you use doesn't matter. You can get Quick Charge on USB 2.0 or 3.0, micro or Type C.
