It looks like thats on navigation bar, mine is minimized. It should be on keyboard like it was on S23

If you have natural colors on S22 then yes. Vivid doesnt work on all S24s as far as I know. I have S24+
If it really is, then they definitely went backwards. It all has to do with AOD. I don't think it's just the UI.
I'm using it how it came out of the box. It's extremely jarring to me too. No reason they can't let you choose to take that AI thing off and make it a voice mic icon.

For me, the only reason I'm using Samsung Keyboard is the AI feature. However, I agree that we should be able to add a voice input button to the toolbar.

A couple of days with the Samsung keyboard has really hammered home why I use Gboard, lol.

It's just not as good at predicting as Gboard, I used to love Samsung keyboard it actually had better options but Gboard works flawless for me.

Using gestures and the only way to use voice imput is having the mic down in the corner and pushing the keyboard was up. Irritating. Why do I have to have that just to have the option to hold the space bar also. Doesn't make sense

It sounds like Samsung is pushing more and more people towards using Google and third party apps on their phones... pretty soon they're all going to look like Pixels running Nova launcher

you might not be too far off with that comment. wouldn't bother me, too much. Same I've been using SwiftKey forever and when you change phones your predict txt comes onto the next phone

Not to dissuade you from SwiftKey (which is an excellent keyboard as well), but my predictions from the default Samsung keyboard ported over from my S23 to my S24.

I use the default Samsung keyboard, Gboard and SwiftKey. I'll just change it up every so often. The settings have always worked when I get new devices. All three keyboard apps work for me just fine, and I don't have a specific preference.

There is No Wayyyyy the A23 screen would be close to the s24u or for that matter s22u,s23u any Samsung flagships, they put the best screen in the flagships

I just switched to Gboard. Samsung keyboard was starting to annoy me with missed presses and bad predictions. Also hate that the exclamation mark is all the way on the left side rather than lower right like on Gboard. I guess I'm just used to Gboard working for me. Gboard messes up presses for me though too. Hoping I can resolve that or just move on to another keyboard.
